What I Do:
My name is Landon Reece Jones, and I'm 3D artist specializing in character design and animation. I went to Purdue University with a major in game design, where focused on creating skills with Maya, ZBrush, Aftereffects, Photoshop, and various other digital art applications.

My Story in Short:
Throughout my childhood I had a passion for art forms such as drawling and anything else that challenged my creativity. As time went on, I got better and better, and despite the learning and relocation challenges I faced, never once did I lose that artistic spark. I don't drawl as much anymore, but that's because I grew interested in 3D art and animation in my early adult years when I furthered my education at Purdue University. Weirdly enough, my first major biology, which did not go very well to no ones surprise. After reevaluating my life and goals, I decided that since I love video games and especially art, I would go into game design, hence I am here telling you my story.
Why Game Design?:
As stated in my life story, the idea of being a game designer was not on my radar at the start of college, despite my love for video games. It took a year of slogging through chemistry and calc homework to realize what I want to do, and that's when I started my game design courses. I noticed that I had a knack for 3D art and they became my absolute favorite throughout my time at Purdue. They also encouraged me to explore outside of classes, which in my opinion, led to some of my best work. Essentially, it became a hobby even outside of class, which is why I want to make a career out of it.
